Planet Earth is our only home. And our home demands protection from the worst environmental offenders, causing destruction and mayhem. Industries including fossil fuel companies, transportation sector, militaries (notably the US), fast fashion and animal agriculture.
To mitigate their disastrous effects, it's crucial that we eliminate backing for these industries. Phasing out support is vital to combat their severe consequences.
Individual actions we can take to conserve the planet include:
• recycle
• save water
• plant trees
• create a pollinator friendly yard
• don't litter
• shop with reusable bags
• reduce plastic use
• join a community clean-up
• bike instead of drive
• buy electric vehicles
• use solar & wind energy
• help turtles cross the road
• aid injured & orphaned wildlife
• switch to a plant-based diet - in fact, it's the most impactful action we can take to protect Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants
Animal agriculture is resource intensive, extremely polluting, exceptionally cruel & environmentally devastating.

Did you know?
• it takes 2500 gallons of water to produce 1 pound of beef and over 1000 gallons to produce 1 gallon of milk
• 200,000 acres of rainforest are slashed and burned every day to graze cows and grow feed crops
• animals on US factory farms produce 450+ million tonnes of manure, which is untreated, seeping into groundwater & sprayed into the air for the wind to carry onto local communities causing severe health risks
• US Wildlife Services ruthlessly and indiscriminately kill between 1-5 million wildlife species each year in an effort to protect animal agriculture production
• fishing trawlers destroy 2.4+ billion acres of sea floor annually, including plants, coral reefs and sealife
• 40% of marine life caught is considered bycatch who are subsequently thrown overboard injured, dying or already dead
• lost & discarded fishing gear indiscriminately entangles & kills marine life (including dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, whales, seabirds) while increasing plastic pollution in the oceans
Eroding the sea floor & clear cutting forests eliminate Earth's natural carbon capture and releases stored carbon - doing twice the damage leading to warming atmosphere and oceans.
Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, water & land use, water & air pollution, eutrophication, soil depletion & erosion, biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse, endangered species and animal cruelty.
Animal agriculture is responsible for an extraordinary amount of greenhouse gas emissions:
26% carbon dioxide
37% methane
65% nitrous oxide
80 times and 296 times more potent than carbon dioxide, respectively

We can not avert climate catastrophe & heal the Earth without ending animal agriculture.
